To thank you we decided to make some improvements: Seeing the distribution of our users we have added 3 languages in addition to the default one (English): Italian, Russian and Spanish. We have made the bot page simpler and more immediate, to improve its presentability, and we have also changed the main color (we like orange more). Finally, we are working to improve the technical aspects of the bot, thanks to the reports you send us on the support server. Reached 200 servers! Time for some upgrades

Hey food lovers! We are happy to announce you we have reached a new milestone: 300 server.
Here's what we are doing behind the scene:
· Thanks to feedback given from users (you!) we modified the syntax and logic of some commands and added a new language: Belgian (you can use it with "!rlang be")
· Since the bot is proceeding on its own without problems (we have received almost no complaints about malfunctions) we are dedicating most of our time planning the next steps (more info soon!). 

In conclusion we thank you once again for this awesome achievement and we really hope you are enjoying the bot and, of course, the recipes!

300 servers milestone

400, like a tofu, chicken and eggplant curry

Yet another announcement for yet another awesome landmark, 400 servers!

Here is some news and fun facts:
- On the 28th of March we had an issue with the bot sending the message "I had some problem to find this server, try to reinvite me! :)" to all servers. I must say, thinking about that now it was quite the experience! That evening for us time stopped for a while ahah 
- Since the beginning we received more than 50 tickets with really useful tips and we thank you for that!
- We talked about improving the social aspect of the bot, adding features like uploading your own recipes, rating and sharing them with others to create a community.

That said, we wish you all a wonderful summer and we hope you are enjoying our bot and, of course, the recipes!

(don't eat so many eggs)

And here we are, It's been nearly a year since our last update and the community has doubled.
More and more people are joining our server giving advices on how to improve this already awesome bot and showing how much they love it!

Behind the scenes a lot is planned for the future of the project, bearing in mind that the development requires economic and time resources that at the moment we are dedicating mainly to other personal projects, this may take a while.

Bad news, like when you burn the cake in the oven

It is with immense regret that I am telling you this:
     RecipeBot will not work until further notice.
This project has given us so many ups and downs, moments of joy and moments of frustration, and being a project developed in parallel with our life commitments (university, work, family) it has been difficult to continue and get to where we are now (or at least where we were before the update), since it has been a significant economic and time expense for us.
Therefore at the moment it is necessary for us to give priority to other things.

We were so close to 1000 servers! I mean, that's a lot!


• Why "until a further notice?"
University requires a lot of resources and being in exam period and close to graduation doesn't help.


• How long will it take?
Just to give an indicative date, I would say November. It could be sooner or later.


• Can I help in any way?
Yes, indeed. Firstly, by keeping the bot on your server and / or telling your friends not to delete it, it won't get in the way of anyone and will simply be "asleep" (or offline).
Or more directly by donating to the project (link below). Any amount is more than welcome! If we see that there is interest in this regard, we will be more encouraged to resolve promptly.


• Is there no other solution but to wait?
Kind of. We are trying to understand if we can get the bot to go at least on our official server but I can't promise you anything, it would still be a palliative and not a solution.

Sadly we don't know, we can just say to you that we are working on it!

• Why is it taking so long?
Currently our team has only one dev, and he is quite new to this code base. Also he is currently busy with university and work so his time is limited.

• Will the new bot bring new features?
We are focusing on fixing the bot first to make you enjoy it, after that we will add new features.

RecipeBot is back in business!

This journey has been a rollercoaster of flavours, developed alongside our life commitments – university, work, and family – this project required a significant investment of time and resources.
Now, We are delighted to inform you that RecipeBot is back and ready to serve your culinary needs.

University and life demanded attention, but we've triumphed through hard work (and coffee). We had to rewrite the bot code from scratch, so we devoted several days into it.
