Debut!

Rolled out a fix for Missing Permissions! Some of the errors we received earlier were due to this; the bot wasn't able to send the form or wasn't able to log the form results.

The bot will notify you if it's unable to send a message in a channel.

Bug Fixed!

Forms now supports logging form results to threads, expanding the applications of Forms! The /forms slash command should be updating soon to incorporate this additional input. 

If you plan on using threads, remember to update the bot's permissions and give it send messages in threads permissions!

Thread Support!

Roles can now give members roles after they've completed a form (optional, role selectable in the /forms slash command)!

If you plan on using this feature, please update the bot's permissions and make sure it has the manage roles permission.


The Top.gg Invite has also been updated to include this permission.

Forms can now create notes (/note)! 

You can edit & download the note at any time!

Inputs: 
name: the name of the note
role (optional): members with this role will be able to edit/download the note (if role is left blank, only you can edit and download the note).

Do you store any data from the note?
No. We don't store any data from the note. All the data are stored within the embed. To download the note, we will temporarily create a txt file with your note's content and send you the file. After sending the file, we remove the file.

Discord released an update for the Android Discord App, and it supports modals now! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to join our Support Server or by using /support and sending a message.

We've Been Verified!!

We just rolled out a minor adjustment to our error handling for forms: if an error occurs (say the bot isn't able to send messages to a channel), the responses you inputted into the form will be returned to you, similarly to what would occur if an error had not occurred.

We're working on implementing cooldowns for forms alongside some other features we're working on, more coming soon! 

Minor Changes and Future Features

We've implemented cooldowns on the button to launch a form, to prevent spam. You'll need to recreate the form with the /forms slash command for the cooldown to be implemented, however.

Rolled out a fix to our anti-spam cooldown so it applies user to user not by message!

We've pushed out cooldowns for notes to prevent spam! The current cooldown is 3 clicks per every 30 seconds.

You can now customize the button label for your form(s)! Just specify the button_label input in the /forms slash command (rolling out to all servers now)!

Note: button labels are limited to 80 characters by Discord.

You can now create secure polls with Forms! The /poll slash command is rolling out across all guilds as I am typing this! You can select up to 5 options (and their colors). 

Guilds are currently limited to 4 forms per day. 

All polls expire after 28 days.
