Why this bot?

This bot is especially useful for looking to play servers but will also find application in other types of servers.

Using this bot you will be able to mention multiple roles based on operators.

Scenario: You want to play Counter-Strike with some of your members on your Discord Server, and you are only missing a good AWP player with your rank. But typing "Hey @Global Elite @AWP do you want to play some Counter-Strike?" will mention every AWP-Player and every Global Elite Player. This can be very annoying.

So instead of pinging everyone you can use this Bot to only mention the people you want to play with:

!ism AWP "Global Elite"

Or if you want to include players with lower skill groups and players that are prime verified, you can type:

!complexMention *a AWP *o "Global Elite" *o "Legendary Eagle Master" *a "Prime Verified"

Commands

!ism role role !complexMention operator role operator role... !iAliasList !iMentionHelp

!ism

Use !ism role role to mention every member that has both roles. For example !ism Red Green Use !iAliasList for a valid list of role nicknames to use instead. For example !ism r g will mention users with the roles @Red AND @Green

!complexMention

Use !complexMention for more control. Syntax: !complexMention operator role operator role...

Operators:

*a  AND - Member has to have this role
*o  OR  - Member has to have at least one of the roles tagged *o
*xo XOR - Member can have only one of the roles tagged with *xo
*n  NOT - Member is not allowed to have this role.
*m  MESSAGE - Adds a custom message to your mention command.

Example:

!complexMention *a Green *xo Red *xo Yellow

Members with the roles @Green and @Red OR @Green and @Yellow will be mentioned

!complexMention *a Mercy *m "We need a mercy player, you can join <#13374206969>"

Everybody with the Mercy role will be mentioned. Additionally your custom message will be displayed at the top of the message. Please Note: You will have to use Quotation marks for the message to be compiled correctly.

In this case every other user is hidden underneath the spoiler (the black bar) to make the custom message more visible.

Alias System

Only usable by admins:

!iSetRoleAlias @Role alias to create a role alias

!iDelRoleAlias @Role to delete all aliases associated with the role

After adding custom aliases you can use

!iAliasList

This will list all available aliases to use in your commands

Please note:

The bot only works on users that have their online status set to Online or Idle. If the user has their status set to Do not Disturb or Invisivble, the bot will simply ignore them and not add them to the mention list. This is done in order to prevent spamming or people getting unwanted notifications. Also, if you want to mention a role that has spaces but no alias for example @Super Moderator use quotation marks: !complexMention *a "Super Moderator"

The roles are case sensitive. Make sure to not use @Role when using the command as this will not work (and defeat the whole purpose of this bot) simply use the role's name without the @ symbol
