Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I updated this bot but the first update is finally here! Let’s go through all the changes:

Comics:
3 new comics were added, taking the comic total to 10! These comics are:
⁃ Frazz (Gocomics.com)
⁃ Cyanide and Happiness (explosm.net)
⁃ And Garfield minus Garfield (Garfield minus Garfield on Tumblr)
You can use them right now with all
available commands right now! (Note that Garfield minus Garfield is still limited into the functionality to an extent where it is complicated to extract the image prior to 2018. This should be fixed in the next update.)

Features:
⁃ Request command! Use bd!request to request a comic or any feature you would like to see the bot have in the next update! For more visibility, you can also post your request at https://github.com/BBArikL/BDBot/issues/new/choose .
⁃ Clarified the help command with further explanation and command aliases
⁃ Random footers: To give more life to the comic embed.
⁃ Under the hood, optimizations and internal features have been developed to better scale the bot when more comics will need to be added.

What to expect for the future updates?
⁃ Way more Gocomics comics
⁃ Support for WEBTOON
⁃ More Garfield comics ex: Garkov
⁃ Some independent comics
⁃ More random footers
⁃ Ideas (not confirmed): Role mention, comic of the day / featured comics, more options for automated comics, etc.

IMPORTANT: This bot needs to be re-invited for slash commands to work.
This update brings major changes to the bot such as:
- Slash commands!
- 7 new comics: 
  - Chibird,
  - War and Peas,
  - Humans are stupid,
  - Maximumble,
  - Poorly Drawn Lines,
  - Heathcliff,
  - Andy Capp
- Latest comic functionality: Just add 'latest' as the date when adding the comic to the bot
- Simulate a post '/post <date> <hour>' to make sure all your comics are configured properly
- Bot status: /status, /ping, /uptime
- Delete requests: /delete_request
- Disable post announcement: Do you only want the comics and nothing else? Use '/post_mention disable' to change the announcement policy. Use it with 'enable' to re-enable it.
- And optimizations hunder the hood keep the bot running smoothly!

The bot is used in more than a 100 servers, thanks to all of you! I will take a break for the summer but I will still keep an eye on your requests!

Fourth Update!

Finally! After 2 months of work, the bot is back up and running. Sorry to every guild and users using the bot! Here is the new features:
