After many months I have finally released the website! In the full JakeBot "yellow and yellow" colour scheme. At this current moment in time, its main function is further advertising and a quick way to see and search for commands, but more features will be arriving soon!

I have finally released the biggest translation update the bot has ever seen! I have completely overhauled the settings system replacing it with one that is not only very powerful, allowing for many functions previously impossible, but super easy to use. Try it out today with the "j!translationsettings" command!

I have now added support for a few slash commands! This cool little feature discord has added recently should hopefully allow some of the more complicated commands to be understood with ease and with more speed. 

The current supported commands are: Clear, Help, Invite, Langlist, Memberinfo, Morph, Oldest Message, Translate, Translation Stats, Wordcloud. 

If they aren't showing up for you go through the "re-adding" process. No need to actually remove Jake! Just click the "invite" button.

For this pride month I have decided to update Jake's Profile Picture, randomise embed colours to go with said Profile Picture update and add a fancy new command called "lgbtify"!

I have released a new update to JakeBot that contains several improvements, most notably; replacing all reaction menus with button-based menus, removing all paywall translation limits on the command, adding roles to the translation whitelist, adding a command to allow editing of messages sent by a Morph and the ability to send morphs to a friend. As well as quite a few other changes!

Update Released

Hi all, today I have moved Jake over to character-based limits with the free tier containing 6000 characters per month. I have also added a new upvoting system that allows you to get up to 400 free characters with each upvote for a server of your choosing . 

Moving to character-based limits

At long last, I have fully implemented slash commands! I have estimated the bot to have around 90-95% of its prefix-based commands now usable as slash commands. On top of that, I have improved several commands in the process, adding new features and fixing old ones.

I have also added several "Message Commands". These allow a user to right-click (or tap and hold) on a message and go to "Apps", where they can quickly translate to whatever language they would like with English and Spanish being quickly accessible, but with an option for "Your Language" that can be set to whatever is desired. Or alternatively, a "Quick Translate" option which opens a modal for one-off translation.

Oh and happy pride month! We may get LGBTQ+ Jake or we may not, let's see.
