Cat

Basics

Cat is a Discord Bot with its main purpose being as an AI chatbot, you can @ it to start a new conversation and reply to its response or make it create a thread to continue the same conversation. Cat also has a ton of kitchen sink-like utils that may be useful and are just there at no extra "cost".

Limits

Server Owners (and Staff added in the Dashboard) can set limits for ai usage server-wide and on a per user basis, cost and usage of each user is tracked and history of it is saved for 7 days.

Cost

The OpenAI API Key for each server will have to be provided by someone therefore here are cost informations. the bot uses gpt4 for the first 2 (by default) messages in a context with a minimum token input of 300 (gpt4 can be disabled) the draw image feature uses 512x512 (1.8 cent) the describe image feature is free beside the initial prompt the search feature uses gpt3.5 4k for the initial search results but the ai can decide to get more infos using the gpt3.5 16k model with around 8k tokens supplied on average.

Economy

The Economy is currently still quite work in progress so just explore it for now! :P

Dashboard

The Dashboard allows you to manage most settings without needing to be on discord, it also allows adding staff users with fine grained permissions to help manage users. It isnt only for staff as normal users can view stats and a level in the dashboard.

Levels

The Bot contains a level system and will send replys on a level up, each level takes 500xp and xp are calculated using the count of words, average word length, etc...

Variations

The Bot has multiple variations, the main one is Cat but there is also Dog and Duck depending on what you prefer. All run on the same codebase.

Data
